Diversified Partners, a real estate brokerage and development firm, has announced plans for East Gate Plaza, a new $60 million retail destination located at the northeast corner of Elliot and Ellsworth roads in Mesa, Arizona.
Spanning approximately 17 acres, East Gate Plaza is designed to meet growing demand for high-quality retail, dining and wellness experiences in the rapidly expanding East Valley. Strategically positioned near the thriving master-planned community of Eastmark and the emerging Superstition Vistas region, the project will serve as a gateway into one of Mesa’s most dynamic growth corridors.
“East Gate Plaza brings together some of today’s most sought-after retail and dining brands in a location that’s perfectly aligned with Mesa’s future,” said Walt Brown Jr., founder and chief executive officer of Diversified Partners. “The combination of strong community growth, exceptional visibility and contemporary design makes this project a true destination for residents and visitors alike.”
East Gate Plaza is strategically positioned to serve the rapidly expanding East Valley, including the thriving master-planned community of Eastmark and the emerging Superstition Vistas region.
Eastmark is one of the fastest-growing master-planned communities in Arizona, known for its strong residential base, schools and family-friendly environment. Superstition Vistas, a planned 275-square-mile area, represents the next wave of long-term residential and commercial growth in the region.
Together, these high-growth communities create a powerful trade area with strong demand for high-quality retail, dining and wellness experiences; demand East Gate Plaza is designed to meet.
Designed with a focus on modern architecture and functionality, East Gate Plaza will feature distinctive building designs, pedestrian-friendly layouts and a professionally curated tenant mix that promotes community connection. The project aligns closely with the City of Mesa’s Tech Corridor design vision, ensuring it serves as an attractive and forward-looking entrance to the area’s economic hub.
Confirmed tenants include Starbucks, Einstein Bros. Bagels, Discount Tire, FitFX, WingSnob, Señor Taco, Farmer Boys, Zeitouna, Fresh Monkee, Port of Subs, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Euphoria Nail Salon, Playa Bowls, Hand & Stone Spa, Kolache Café and Andi’s Hair Salon (AVEDA).
Additional tenants coming soon include a dental office, a veterinary practice, a med spa, a family medicine practice and a restaurant with a bar. The project will also feature the Cambria Hotel, adding a hospitality component to complement the surrounding retail and dining experiences.
Construction is underway, with project delivery anticipated in the first quarter of 2026.
