For the past 60 years, structural engineering firm Caruso Turley Scott has forged relationships and made lasting impressions on the Valley’s development landscape by providing exceptional service on iconic projects.

When Sam Caruso founded the firm, he always focused on relationships. Richard Turley and Paul Scott adopted that mentality and passed it on to the current leadership team. This relationship-based culture has never changed since the firm was established in 1963.

The challenge as a structural engineering firm is ensuring the safety, stability, and longevity of structures by providing rigorous analysis and innovative problem-solving skills to determine the best arrangement of materials, components, and systems to withstand the forces of nature and human use.

“As engineers, we collaborate with architects, owners, and builders to provide the framework upon which architectural visions can materialize into tangible buildings that withstand gravity, wind, seismic activity, and other environmental factors, safeguarding the well-being of the occupants,” said partner, Sandy Herd, SE, PE, LEED AP.

Its Valley headquarters comprises a total team of 75, with 50 structural engineers (31 professional registrants), and five U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED accredited professionals.

“While providing design services for all 50 states, Caruso Turley Scott has found that running our engineering services and operations out of one office offers us numerous advantages in terms of communication, collaboration, efficiency, and innovation,” said partner, Richard Dahlmann, SE, PE. “By embracing a centralized approach, we have positioned our company for long-term success and sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive environment.”

Caruso Turley Scott is committed to optimizing structural efficiency for projects of every size and complexity. CTS engineers contribute to cost-effectiveness and sustainability, reducing material waste and environmental impact.
