Mya Kai Creative Agency, the full-service advertising agency dedicated to building and growing brands through design experiences that connect today’s companies to tomorrow’s culture, is pleased to announce its CEO and Chief Creative Officer Michael Jackson has been named the Phoenix 2023 Creative Professional of the Year. Jackson received this award at the 2023 American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) Phoenix American Advertising Awards Gala on Friday, March 10.
The American Advertising Awards (ADDY Awards) is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition. Its mission is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. Annually, the ADDY Awards attract more than 25,000 entries in local AAF Ad Club competitions.
“It’s an honor to receive this award and join its distinguished list of leaders who have spent decades in this industry,” says Jackson, who named his agency Mya Kai after his son, Malikai, and CO-Founders daughter Amaya. “As Phoenix’s only black-owned agency and a comparatively young company, we are honored by this industry’s validation of our agency and recognition of our creative work.”
