“On behalf of the Boys and Girls Club of the Valley, hundreds of employees, Board of Directors, and 17,000 youth we thank the Greater Phoenix Chamber for this incredible honor. It means so much to have your support. The work you do on our behalf is tremendous and we couldn’t do it without you! Thank you!” – Marcia Mintz, CEO, Boys and Girls Club of the Valley
Small/Medium Business of the Year: Arizona Technology Council
“I think this is one of the most important awards the Arizona Technology Council has ever won. It has to do with the impact we are making in Arizona’s tech ecosystem and the innovative companies and technology leaders we represent in the community. I’m proud that the tech community stepped up last year during the pandemic to provide masks, PPE and crucial services that people needed in a challenging and difficult time. We couldn’t be more humbled and honored to receive this award from the Greater Phoenix Chamber.” – Steven G. Zylstra, President and CEO, Arizona Technology Council
The two Business of the Year recipients were selected out of eight local companies which are recipients of the Chamber’s IMPACT Awards, honoring the accomplishments of small and large Valley businesses and the positive influences they have on the business community and economy.
“This year’s IMPACT Award recipients illustrate the strength and resiliency of the business community; despite the unprecedented times we have seen in 2020 & 2021. They embody innovation, business acumen, and community giving,” said Greater Phoenix Chamber president and CEO Todd Sanders. “These organizations make an impact in our community every day and will continue to be stalwart leaders as our city moves forward as a national and global leader.”
