Better Business Bureau Serving the Pacific Southwest (BBB) announces 16 Arizona companies selected as finalists for the 2020 BBB Torch Awards for Ethics, sponsored by Desert Financial Credit Union. The program raises awareness in marketplace ethics and honors businesses who operate with integrity. BBB made the critical decision to pivot this year’s in-person event to a virtual format as an ongoing commitment to keep our community safe and healthy.
“Doing the right thing is not always easy. These exemplary companies have navigated through a challenging year while demonstrating a high level of trust. They’ve made a commitment to ethical business practices and it’s our honor to recognize them as marketplace role models,” said Matthew Fehling, President/CEO for BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest.
Throughout October, finalists, judges and our title sponsor will be celebrated through a visual campaign on BBB’s social media channels. Videos will feature personal messages from businesses on how they’ve overcome ethical challenges and implemented crucial shifts in operations while maintaining integrity.
“Ethics play a vital role in the success of a business, especially during a pandemic. For 18 years, BBB has been recognizing companies for their solid commitment to doing things right in their companies and industries,” said Shelley Bradley, Director of Signature Events for BBB Serving the Pacific Southwest.
Winners will be announced on October 28 on BBB’s website. The virtual celebration will continue throughout November as winners are recognized on BBB’s social media and other digital platforms.
