The museum is at 1625 N. Central Ave. in Phoenix.

Visitors can fold origami flowers with the Japanese Friendship Garden, make petal mandalas with Rosa Phoenix or join Arizona Kpop Dance Crew for a 7 p.m. workshop open to beginners. At 5:30 p.m., a docent will lead a tour of Kim Chong Hak, Painter of Seoraksan, an exhibition of the South Korean artist’s work inspired by the landscapes and wildflowers of Mount Seorak. A separate ticket is required for the exhibition and tour.

Beyond the museum, Roosevelt Row’s First Friday art walk runs from 6 to 10 p.m., with galleries, live music and vendor markets at local businesses. The city’s new vending pilot, which began in October, lets permitted businesses host artists and makers on their property and ends First Friday street and alley closures. Look for vendors at participating businesses along the route.

On Historic Grand Avenue, Roosevelt ArtWorks has an outdoor installation that lights up as daylight fades, with viewing from 5 to 10 p.m. Use Artlink’s November First Friday map to put together a route and check hours for individual stops.
