Andersen’s ballet follows the young lovers as their romance collides with family conflict. Through dance and live orchestral music, the production traces their journey from the excitement of first love to devastating loss. Ballet Arizona celebrates the work as one of Andersen’s greatest achievements.

Weekend performances take place Friday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 24, at 2 and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Oct. 25, at 1 and 5:30 p.m. Guests are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime for security screening.
