Huse Culinary, an Indianapolis-based restaurant and retail food group, is excited to announce the official opening of Harry & Izzy’s in Paradise Valley on Wednesday, Aug. 26, marking the brand’s first location outside of Indiana. Located at the reimagined PV, formerly Paradise Valley Mall, the modern American grill concept will bring its signature blend of timeless sophistication, elevated cuisine, and renowned hospitality to the Valley.
Spanning 8,300 square feet, Harry & Izzy’s features a 2,400-square-foot patio, outdoor bar, and seating for 340 guests. The restaurant offers an elevated take on classic American dishes, including premium steaks, the world-famous St. Elmo Shrimp Cocktail, fresh seafood selections, shareable appetizers, and expertly crafted cocktails. Designed for both everyday dining and special occasions, the space combines timeless steakhouse elements with a lively atmosphere for celebrations, business gatherings, and nights out with family and friends.
“Opening Harry & Izzy’s in the Valley marks an exciting new chapter for our team and our family of restaurants,” said Craig Huse, CEO of Huse Culinary. “We’ve built our brands around exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and creating memorable experiences, and we’re honored to bring that tradition to Paradise Valley.”
The Harry & Izzy’s name pays tribute to lifelong friends Harry Roth and Izzy Rosen, who owned and operated St. Elmo Steak House for 39 years. From 1947 to 1986, the duo built a legacy of warmth, personality and hospitality that continued under the Huse family’s stewardship of the iconic Indianapolis restaurant. Since then, Huse Culinary has grown its portfolio to eight restaurants across four brands, including 1933 Lounge by St. Elmo and The HC Tavern + Kitchen, while continuing to expand its legacy of hospitality and culinary excellence.
For nearly two decades, Harry & Izzy’s has remained proudly rooted in Indianapolis, where its ties run so deep that Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning joined the brand’s ownership group. With Manning also joining the Paradise Valley restaurant as a partner, the opening marks Harry & Izzy’s first step beyond Indiana, bringing its signature dishes and Midwest hospitality to one of the country’s fastest-growing culinary destinations.
Located at 12770 N Tatum Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85032, Harry & Izzy’s will be open daily for lunch and dinner, with brunch served Saturdays and Sundays. Happy hour will be available daily from 3 to 6 p.m.
