Tempe-based Foresight Technologies has been part of the semiconductor supply chain since 1995. The company does not make chips. It makes the systems fabs need to run: high-purity components, chemical distribution systems, tool installation support and specialty fabrication for cleanroom environments through on- and off-site manufacturing.
The company just recently passed 1,000 employees worldwide. The milestone comes as Foresight continues expanding on both sides of the Pacific. The company now operates more than 350,000 square feet of production space, including 165,000 square feet in Arizona and 190,000 square feet in Malaysia. Its Penang operation, launched in 2010, has grown alongside chip manufacturing in Asia and now has nearly twice the company’s U.S. workforce.

Foresight expects to reach 1,300 employees worldwide by the end of 2026. Its Foresight On-Site division also plans to move into a 10,000-square-foot facility in Deer Valley, Arizona, this summer to expand off-site plastic fabrication and logistics support.
Foresight’s growth points to another part of the semiconductor buildout now taking shape. As more chip manufacturing moves into Arizona and other fast-growing regions, demand is rising for the specialized systems and cleanroom infrastructure needed to bring fabs into operation.
