Tropical Sno North AZ, locally owned and operated by the Lee family, officially opens its doors on Saturday, August 8, inviting the local community to celebrate the arrival of its newest family gathering place.
The Grand Opening Celebration will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and will feature a Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, live DJ, balloons, photo booth, light bites, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to win exciting prizes, including a raffle for a pair of Meta Quest smart glasses. Guests can also enjoy a Buy One Get One Free offer during the event.
For the Lee family, Tropical Sno is much more than shaved ice. It is the after school tradition that brightened their children’s day, the place where birthdays, victories, and everyday moments became lasting memories. Now, they are excited to bring that same experience to the community they proudly call home.
Having lived in Anthem for more than a year, the Lee family says they were drawn to the area’s welcoming spirit, strong sense of community, and family-centered values.
“As Anthem continues to grow, we saw an opportunity to become more involved and contribute in a meaningful way,” said owner Daja Lee. “From our very first visit, Anthem felt like home. The friendships, support, and sense of community we have experienced encouraged us throughout this journey, and we are excited to give back by creating a place where families can come together and make memories.”
As a military family, the Lees also plan to partner with local schools, nonprofit organizations, veteran organizations, and community groups to make a lasting impact throughout Anthem.
“We hope Tropical Sno becomes more than just a great shaved ice shop,” Lee said. “We want it to be the place where families celebrate a soccer team’s big win, a great report card, or simply enjoy spending time together. Being part of those everyday celebrations is what matters most to us.”
Guests will be able to enjoy Tropical Sno favorites, including Cotton Candy, Blue Raspberry, Tiger’s Blood, Mango, and Trevor’s Blue, a special flavor created in honor and remembrance.
The Lee family invites the Anthem community to join them for the grand opening on Saturday, August 8, from 12:30-2pm and be among the first to experience what they hope will become Anthem’s newest happy place, located at 42407 N. Vision Way, Suite #110, Anthem, AZ 85086.
