After more than 13 years of serving hearty comfort food, welcoming families and building a fiercely loyal customer base across the Valley, Arizona favorite Haymaker is officially expanding through franchising.

The locally loved restaurant brand announced today that it is seeking qualified franchise partners throughout Arizona as it begins the next chapter of growth for the homegrown concept known for its oversized portions, all-day dining menu and nostalgic neighborhood atmosphere.

Founded by restaurateur Joey Lucidi with just $110 in his pocket at opening, Haymaker has grown from a humble dream into a thriving Arizona staple with four Valley locations in North Peoria, Goodyear, Peoria, Buckeye and South Peoria. Today, the restaurants collectively serve over ten thousand guests each week and over one half million guests per year, They have become go-to gathering spots for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Known for signature dishes like its slow-roasted French Dip sandwiches, Heavenly Hot Cakes, Country Fried Steak & Gravy, hearty omelettes and comfort-food classics, Haymaker has built a reputation around generous hospitality and made-from-scratch meals that feel both nostalgic and familiar.

As part of its franchise expansion, Haymaker is actively seeking owner-operators who align with the brand’s family-focused values and commitment to hospitality, with a special emphasis on military veterans and family entrepreneurs throughout Arizona.

To support veteran ownership opportunities, Haymaker is offering exclusive incentives for qualifying U.S. Armed Forces veterans, subject to verification of service, qualifications and Franchise Disclosure Document terms.

The franchise opportunity is built around a proven operational model refined over 13 years, combining strong brand recognition, loyal repeat customers and scalable systems designed for long-term growth. Franchise partners will also receive direct support and mentorship from the Haymaker leadership team as the brand expands throughout Arizona and beyond.

Haymaker plans to award its first franchise agreements in 2026, with a goal of signing two to three franchisees within the first year.
