Flower Child, the popular, feel-good restaurant known for its vibrant health-forward menu, expands into the West Valley with three new locations planned for Peoria, Goodyear and Surprise, bringing the restaurant to communities that have long anticipated its arrival, with openings slated for late 2026 and late 2027.
Flower Child Peoria will open at The Trailhead (8226 W. Happy Valley Road) and Flower Child Goodyear will open at GSQ, both expected later this year. A third location in Surprise at Village at Prasada is expected to open in late 2027. The expansion comes as multiple prime West Valley sites became available around the same time, creating an opportunity for the Arizona-born brand to establish a broader presence in the area in quick succession.
“Interest in Flower Child across the West Valley has been building for a long time,” said Dave Luz, divisional vice president of operations for Flower Child. “We’ve been waiting for the right mix of locations to come together, and this gives us the chance to grow in a way that feels true to the brand and the communities there.”
Known for its “Healthy Food for a Happy World” ethos, Flower Child is a place where guests can come to fill their soul (and belly) with goodness. With simple, soul-satisfying approach to serving up positivity and wholesome eats, Flower Child offers a made-from-scratch menu that caters to all lifestyles — from vegetarian and vegan to gluten-free and everything in between. Since opening its first location in Phoenix more than a decade ago, the concept has grown to more than 40 locations nationwide.
The menu balances nourishing bowls, wraps and salads with comfort-driven dishes, including the Mother Earth Bowl with ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushroom, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onion, leafy greens, red pepper miso vinaigrette and hemp seed; the Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese with aged white cheddar and parmesan; Chicken Enchiladas with guajillo chile, smoked gouda, poblano cream, organic black bean, roasted corn and avocado; The Rebel “French Dip” with grass-fed steak, charred onion, arugula, creamy horseradish, fontina cheese and bone broth; and the Brussels Sprouts & Organic Kale Salad with red grape, organic apple, pink grapefruit, white cheddar, smoked almond and apple cider vinaigrette.
Each location will offer dine-in service in a bright, welcoming setting, along with online ordering and takeout through the Flower Child app.
