HCW and Spike Lawrence Ventures announced the successful completion and unveiling of an expansion of the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Chandler. The project includes the addition of 68 new guest rooms, more conference space, and additional hotel amenities.
Since opening in the summer of 2020, the hotel has become a premier destination for both business and leisure travelers, due to its prime downtown Chandler location in the New Square development, owned by HCW and Spike Lawrence Ventures. The expansion increases the hotel’s total room count to 177 and adds 3,200 square feet of flexible meeting and event space with pre-function areas, service stations, and dedicated restrooms, as well as a 2,140-square-foot outdoor event patio. Guests can also enjoy an expanded 1,225-square-foot fitness center and a thoughtfully appointed 325-square-foot bridal suite. The new bridal suite features a champagne lounge, dedicated bridal salon and private king bedroom with a spa-inspired bath, providing an elevated experience for wedding parties and special celebrations.
An unveiling and ribbon cutting event brought together community leaders, partners, and local businesses. Speakers included Rick Huffman, President and CEO of HCW; Spike Lawrence of Spike Lawrence Ventures; Kevin Hartke, Mayor of the City of Chandler; Terri Kimble, President and CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce; and Jess Walrath, CEO/Executive Director of the Downtown Chandler Community Partnership. Guests enjoyed live entertainment, hat-making from Copper Brim Hat Co, exceptional cuisine, and tours of the newly expanded spaces, celebrating the hotel’s enhanced offerings with the community.
“The support from the City of Chandler, the Chamber, Downtown partners, and our community has been incredible,” said Rick Huffman, President and CEO of HCW. “This expansion reflects our commitment to Downtown Chandler, allowing us to welcome more guests, host larger events, and continue delivering the elevated Hilton Garden Inn experience.”
