Modern Grind, a staple in Avondale and Phoenix’s West Valley, announced a new way for its customers to enjoy their coffee, healthy food and other drinks: a mobile trailer.
Modern Grind’s owner Daphnie Kelly debuted a new trailer that will provide an opportunity to serve the community on a greater and broader scale than previously available through its brick-and-mortar drive-through location. The trailer will offer hot lattes and other hot drinks, expanding the menu beyond its limited selection of iced and blended drinks.
“With the Modern Grind mobile trailer, we can get to more people and places quicker and more conveniently,” Kelly said.
Once again, Modern Grind is a finalist for the West Valley View’s Best of the Best award for coffee shops, an award they have captured the past two years. With the trailer, Modern Grind is taking another step forward after recently celebrating its five-year anniversary.
“We have made smart decisions in the past few years to continue to invest in our business and in our community,” Kelly said. “In return, our customers from all over the Valley have helped us to scale and grow to serve their needs in new and exciting ways.”
The trailer offers both better service for patrons and an opportunity for Modern Grind’s baristas as well. The new travelling counterpart offers its baristas a chance to learn and connect with the community on an even deeper level.
