Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows, the 23-acre luxury oasis in Scottsdale, is launching the first-ever Andaz Culinary Series featuring multiple Andaz properties from around the globe that will culminate in Scottsdale. Andaz Peninsula Papagayo, Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, and Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya will each bring their unique flavors and distinctive cultural elements to Scottsdale’s signature restaurant Weft & Warp Art Bar + Kitchen for a limited time starting in October. Throughout the series, each Andaz partner will introduce a limited-edition menu and special ticketed experiences at Andaz Scottsdale, all open to the public and to resort guests.

Andaz, translated from Hindi, means “personal style.” The Andaz brand represents unapologetic self-expression and the pursuit of individuality. Each Andaz property embodies this ethos, offering unique experiences that encourage guests to move, indulge, play, and be themselves without restraint. Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Bungalows will be a home base for the fusion of three of these vibrant properties from inspiring corners of the world.

From the Papagayo Peninsula overlooking Costa Rica’s Culebra Bay, Andaz Peninsula Papagayo will be Scottsdale’s first culinary partner with experiences over October 17-20. In addition to limited edition brunch, dinner, and cocktail menus created by Papagayo’s Executive Chef Bruno Alves, Weft & Warp will feature a Costa Rican crudo station as well as a 6-course Chef’s Table experience available where guests will be exclusively seated in the glass-walled exhibition kitchen and served directly by Chef Bruno and Weft & Warp’s Executive Chef Sammy DeMarco, who will walk through each curated course.

From November 7-9, the spirit of aloha will be introduced to Scottsdale by Andaz Maui at Wailea Resort, the luxurious 15-acre beachfront property situated on Maui’s premier southwestern coastline along Mōkapu Beach. Executive Chef Ritchard Cariaga of the iconic Wailea resort will bring a taste of the islands to Weft & Warp menus, a poke-making class, and luau-style Chef’s Table experience for up to 10 guests per seating. Throughout the week guests will indulge in local and indigenous Hawaiian ingredients such as taro, poi, ulu, and li hing mui. Bringing island charm to the desert, guests visiting Andaz Scottsdale during the series will enjoy live idyllic ukulele music on the patio, complimentary leis, and festive Hawaiian decor.

Lastly, Andaz Mayakoba Resort Riviera Maya will join forces with Andaz Scottsdale over December 12-14. Limited-edition menus designed by Chef Miguel Gomez will be inspired by Mexico’s northeast Yucatán Peninsula. Guests can also partake in a Mexican cooking class and enjoy the exclusive Chef’s Table experience featuring flavors of the Riviera Maya.

“We’re so excited to bring together the wonderful cultures, flavors, and influences of beloved Andaz properties from around the world here in Scottsdale,” says General Manager, Carlos Morales. “The Andaz brand is committed to self expression, standout design, and innovative culinary experiences. This series will serve to celebrate the dynamic individuality of our brand counterparts.”
