Local breakfast restaurant Over Easy announces the opening of its newest location in Tempe located at 690 S Novus Place. The new 3,000 square foot restaurant is set to open early-May and will host its special Welcome Weekend on Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Over Easy’s Welcome Weekend is a grand opening celebration for all ages that will include exciting giveaways, menu tastings, live DJ entertainment and an interactive photobooth experience. Guests can also enjoy penny mimosas with the purchase of an entree. (Limit one per guest. Restrictions may apply.)
“We are excited to be opening our 14th Over Easy and first location in Tempe,” says Brian Terpay, COO of Over Easy. “As a proud Sun Devil myself, this expansion holds a special significance. We are appreciative of the unwavering support from our patrons and are extending a warm welcome to the neighborhood, especially to our fellow ASU alumni and students, at our newest location.”
The new restaurant, designed by Scottsdale-based architecture firm ALINE Architecture Concepts and interior designer Social Design Studio, features a main dining room, bar and patio to accommodate up to 146 guests seven days a week for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The local breakfast concept, known for creating energized takes on classic breakfast staples, will be serving menu favorites including Banana Nut French Toast, Golden Waffle Dogs, Chilaquiles, the Monte Cristo and a variety of fresh salads and sandwiches among other popular dishes.
Each Over Easy is known for its modern diner vibe decor features that include a custom neon wall. The aesthetic décor and great customer service have led to features on the Food Network, including “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives;” in Bon Appétit Magazine as well as recognition as one of America’s best breakfast and brunch restaurants by Travel + Leisure.
Over Easy is opening three more locations this year, including Peoria, Queen Creek and Goodyear. They are hiring for dozens of positions including back-of-house and front-of-house opportunities.
