Brad Wright has joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Phoenix as a Partner in the Real Estate group, the law firm announced. Dorsey’s Phoenix office has experienced exceptional growth since opening in 2022, expanding from three to 29 attorneys.
Brad represents clients on complex business matters often involving the intersection of law, public policy, finance, and real estate. He has used his real estate, public finance, legal experience, and leadership skills to drive complex economic development, real estate transactions, climate tech, sports projects, and a host of other initiatives to successful completion. Brad’s real estate development and finance experience includes infrastructure finance, mixed-use commercial developments, master planned communities, home building, golf courses, and publicly owned professional sports facilities. Brad joins Dorsey from Polsinelli, where he was a partner.
Brad has been appointed by the past three Arizona Governors to several boards and commission including two terms and past chairman of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority. He was chairman of the Arizona Organizing Committee that successfully hosted the 2016 College Football Playoff Championship Game, and he served on the Phoenix Local Organizing Committee for the 2017 NCAA Final Four. He is a trustee of the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame. Brad also serves as an executive board member of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, as an executive board member of the Arizona Chamber of Commerce, and is a past chairman of WESTMARC.
Brad received his J.D. from Washington University School of Law and his B.S. in Accounting from Illinois State University.
