Salt River Project (SRP) has announced Brian Koch as the company’s new Associate General Manager and Chief Financial Officer, effective February 19, and Vanessa Kisicki as Associate General Manager and Chief Customer Executive, effective immediately.
Koch joined SRP in 2001 and currently serves as Corporate Treasurer and Senior Director of Financial Services. In this position, he helps shape SRP’s overall financial health, leading the pricing, financial planning, energy risk management, financial trusts and investments, and treasury operations and compliance areas. Koch has also held leadership positions in the energy risk management, financial planning, resource planning and development areas. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Northern Arizona University.
Koch succeeds Aidan McSheffrey, who will retire in May 2024 after more than 31 years with SRP.
“Aidan’s leadership of SRP’s financial services team is one of the reasons that SRP maintains the highest credit rating in the nation among public power companies,” said Jim Pratt, SRP General Manager and Chief Executive Officer. “Brian will bring to his new role tremendous expertise and knowledge of our industry that will be critical as SRP looks to meet a 25 percent increase in energy demand by 2030 while ensuring affordable prices for our customers.”
Kisicki has been with SRP for nearly 22 years. She most recently served as Director of Distribution Strategy where she was responsible for planning and modernizing the electric distribution grid for one of the fastest growing areas of the nation. She specializes in building and leading strategic teams, fostering technology innovation, and nurturing the development of emerging leaders. She earned a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University.
“Exceptional customer operations is at the heart of what we do at SRP, and Vanessa is uniquely qualified to lead the customer service team as we work to elevate our products and services while continuing to meet the changing needs of our customers,” said Pratt.
