B&D Industries, Inc announced that the company has achieved official certification from ChargePoint, EVO Charge Certified, and Qmerit Home Fleet Program for residential EVSE installations to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout the state of Arizona. The company plans to install as many EV chargers as possible for commercial, industrial, local and federal government and residential customers.
B&D Industries has set a strong foundation for Arizona EV charger installations through their work in New Mexico. B&D Industries is projected to install over 40 EV charging stations in New Mexico in 2023 for commercial, industrial, local and federal government and residential entities.
“The market for these products continues to grow in Arizona, New Mexico and across the country,” said Troy Beall, Owner, CEO and President. “We have seen all the benefits economically both short and long term for the end user. We know the distributors, we know lead times and when it comes to capitalizing on incentives, we have an entire team dedicated to making sure the customer is paying the least amount possible for the upfront installation costs.”
As of June 2022, 40,740 electric vehicles were registered in Arizona. As of December 29, 2022, Arizona had 903 public EV charging stations with more than 2,400 charging ports.
In November 2021, President Joe Biden signed the Bipartisan Infrastructure law which includes $76.5 Million in federal funding for EV chargers.
“Some local power utilities offer rebate incentives,” said Joe Harrison, B&D Industries Service Manager. “B&D Industries has a team that helps streamline the process while building the incentives into the installation estimate.”
B&D Industries is the installing contractor for the EV chargers. Once they are installed, the EV charging stations and all of their benefits are customer owned.
