Visiquest Properties’ 59 Evergreen Community Earns AMA Honors

It took vision (and five years) to transform a nearly 50-year-old, partially completed townhome project into a modern, award-winning multifamily community. Where countless developers saw the former Las Casas Contentas subdivision as a partially abandoned lot and aging eyesore along 59^th Avenue in Glendale, Visiquest Properties saw an opportunity to bring a best-in-class apartment community to an area with high demand for attainably priced workforce housing.

The result is 59 Evergreen, a 96-unit garden-style apartment community that features high-end smart home technology and family/pet friendly amenities. 59 Evergreen’s tagline is “At the Intersection of Past and Future” and the Visiquest team’s design seamlessly blended buildings constructed in 1974 with new construction, resulting in a National Green Buildings Standards certified community that was recently named the 2023 Arizona Multihousing Association Garden Apartment Development of the Year.

Today, 59 Evergreen features 1, 2, and 3-bedroom modern units that have open-concept floor plans that maximize space by eliminating hallways and fixed kitchen islands. The interiors feature durable Class A finishes, 9-foot ceilings, quartz counters with tile backsplashes, stainless appliances and ceiling fans, ice makers, generous cabinets with Thermafoil doors, walk-in closets, walk-in showers (in some units) and full-size energy efficient washers and dryers.
