Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, Arizona’s ‘Neighborhood Burger Joint,’ opens Fri., Aug. 11, on the northeast corner of West McDowell Road and North Verrado Way, in the former Verrado Community Welcome Center, 1915 North Verrado Way, Buckeye, AZ 85396. This is the 15th location of the ever-popular Arizona eatery, which earned two ‘best burger’ recognition this year.
Barrett Rinzler, Founder & CEO, Square One Concepts, the restaurant group for Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers, said, “We are excited to serve the outstanding community of Verrado, especially in this distinctive building, part of the original design of the area. It definitely stands out from our other Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers locations. We invite all to come in and enjoy a meal from our scratch kitchen, even a cold one while you’re at it.”
The Verrado location is approximately 5,300 square feet with an additional 1,350 square foot wrap-around misted patio.
Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers began in North Scottsdale in 2011, and has steadily grown throughout metro Phoenix to 15 locations, and will soon open a first location in Oro Valley in the Tucson area at Oracle and Ina roads.
This summer, fans voted Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers “Best Burger” in Phoenix Magazine’s “Best of the Valley” and The Arizona Republic/azcentral’s “Best of the Desert.”
The restaurant group also recently opened its third location of the upscale Bourbon & Bones Chophouse|Bar in Peoria at 83 Marketplace and a second location of Bourbon & Bones Cocktail Lounge in Downtown Phoenix at Chase Field. Famous 48, in Scottsdale at Shops Gainey Village, will see a second location in Gilbert later this year. Square One Concepts also has Wasted Grain with its tucked-away Old Town Ski Lodge in Old Town Scottsdale.
From the start, Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers distinguished itself with its flavorful food from a scratch kitchen, featuring half-pound burgers, hand-formed, made-to-order from fresh, never frozen ground chuck.
Today, popular burgers besides the original All-American include the Open Pit of cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, sugar-cured bacon, an onion ring and BBQ sauce; the Ring of Fire with pepper jack cheese, buffalo sauce, jalapenos, spicy mayo and a spiced onion ring; and many others.
What’s more, Stadium Char Dogs are ample and flavorful with varieties such as The Cincinnati with beef chili, onions and shredded cheddar; The Deep South with mustard, coleslaw and shredded cheddar; The Chili MMMac with beef chili, mmmac & cheese; and, of course, The Standard with the traditional ketchup, mustard and relish all available to please the most discerning hot dog fan.
Overall, the secret of Cold Beers & Cheeseburgers is its mix of quality food, casual comfort and, of course, cold beers, a winning trio that has made it a favorite since the beginning.
