Botco.ai, the GenAI Chat Cloud company, announced today it has been selected by Google as a recipient of $150,000 in cash as part of Google’s Latino Founder Fund, which aims to support Latino entrepreneurs in the United States. Originally from Costa Rica, Botco.ai CEO Rebecca Clyde co-founded the company in 2018 and has overseen its tremendous growth within the intelligent chat industry.

“I am incredibly honored to have been selected as the proud recipient of the prestigious Google Latino Founders Fund,” said Rebecca Clyde. “This recognition is a testament to our advanced innovation and the immense potential of the Botco.ai GenAI Chat Cloud. With the support and resources offered by this award, Botco.ai will forge ahead in our mission to revolutionize customer engagement and transform the way businesses connect with their audiences.”

The Google for Startups Latino Founders Fund provides $150,000 cash awards — without giving up equity in return — and hands-on support to help Latino entrepreneurs build and grow their businesses in the US. In addition to non-dilutive capital and up to $100,000 in Google Cloud credits, recipients also receive hands-on mentorship from Googlers, along with other resources such as sales training, investor prep, mental health therapy, and community offerings at no cost.

“We are extremely proud to be supporting the work done by Botco.ai with the 2023 Google for Startups Latino Founders Fund,” said Google for Startups Marketing Lead Daniel Navarro. “Botco.ai’s mission to empower businesses with people through helpful, relevant, and personalized AI conversations stood out amongst applicants and we are looking forward to helping them continue making an impact in the CRM and software industry.”

Botco.ai recently launched its GenAI Chat Cloud, a suite of generative AI (genAI) products to enable enterprises to transform their sales, marketing and customer relationship initiatives through the latest advances in generative AI. The company enables businesses in healthcare, wellness, government, franchise operations and other industries to leverage the power of genAI and conversational marketing to engage prospects and customers, increase revenue, and derive valuable insights. Botco.ai has previously been recognized as a TiE50 Award Winner at TiEcon, the SaaS category winner of the Arizona Commerce Authority’s Venture Madness, and others.

The company will use the funds from the Google Latino Founders Fund to serve as a catalyst for its growth and enable the team to accelerate the development of groundbreaking features and enhancements for the Botco.ai platform.

“We will leverage this invaluable opportunity to further expand our reach, empower our team, and solidify our position as trailblazers in genAI chat,” continued Ms. Clyde. “With the aid of this fund, Botco.ai will amplify our efforts in creating personalized and meaningful customer interactions, fostering deeper connections between businesses and their diverse audiences. We will invest in cutting-edge research and development, nurturing the next generation of AI-driven solutions that empower businesses to deliver exceptional customer experiences.”

As well as her role with Botco.ai, Ms. Clyde serves on the executive committee of the Arizona Technology Council and as the vice president of programs at the Arizona chapter of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. She is also the owner of Ideas Collide, a full service digital marketing agency. She previously served as co-managing director for Girls in Tech Phoenix. She has been named the Athena 2016 Businesswoman of the Year as well one of the Phoenix Business Journal’s Most Admired Leaders.
