Room for one more? When it comes to Detroit-style pan pizza and oh-so-juicy, crispy chicken tenders, the answer is a resounding – yes! Sam Fox continues his pizza-obsessed expansion in Arizona with a third location of his cult favorite Fly Bye opening this Thursday, Nov. 17.
With this new location just off Camelback Road and 40th Street, some may say Fox has a “thing” for Arcadia. With Fox Restaurant Concepts’ home office, The Henry, Flower Child, North Italia and Doughbird all a stone’s throw away (not to mention Fox’s debut luxury hotel, The Global Ambassador, on the rise at Camelback and 44th Street) – the Phoenix neighborhood has quickly become the epicenter for foodie cravings of all kinds.
Now it’s Fly Bye’s turn to show Arcadians what’s they’ve been missing. Unlike anything in the Valley, the menu is even bigger and better than the original. Get ready for cheesy pan pizza with caramelized crust; golden buttermilk-dipped, hand-breaded chicken tenders; juicy chicken wings ready to be dipped and dunked; eight house-made, lick-up-every-drop sauces including the world’s best ranch (yes, we went there), the cheese fondue (stolen from our culinary dropouts) and the spicy buffalo (it packs a punch that just hits different). Plus, don’t forget the abundantly satiating salads, because everyone needs a little balance.
What’s new with this latest location, you ask? Fly Bye Arcadia will expand its pizza menu with hand-tossed varieties, more chopped salad options and hoagies so good they’ll make Philly proud. Our famous pizzas like the Crispy Chicken Parmesan, Black Truffle Mushroom, Copper Hat and Pepperoni all still have their place on the menu. However, new additions are ready for the spotlight like Lebanese Mom (marinated tomato, roasted garlic, spinach leaf, feta yogurt, za’atar); The Brooklyn (pepperoni, Italian sausage, nueske’s bacon, mozzarella, crushed tomato sauce); Meatball (mozzarella, Italian oregano, crushed tomato sauce, parmesan cream) and Flower Child (portobello mushroom, charred onion, leafy greens, mozzarella), named after our sister restaurant. And you never know when a craving will strike and a new menu item will pop up. Plus, guests can build-their-own pizza with any of our three crust options (hand-stretched, Detroit-style and gluten-free), because who are we to stand in the way of greatness?
“For me – Fly Bye is just the right amount of wrong. Who doesn’t love cheesy Detroit-style pan pizza and crispy handmade chicken tenders smothered in sauces? This new Arcadia location is dangerously close to my office and you better believe I’ll be a regular,” said Fox.
To satisfy those cravings, Fly Bye has a super-fast, super-simple online ordering system for curbside pick-up (or delivery) with some of the latest and greatest technology out there. Just drive up, park and the Fly Bye team will automatically be notified when you’re in the vicinity. No calling. No waiting. No kidding.
Whether you’re preparing for a backyard throwdown with the entire block, or just a party for you and your dog, Fly Bye is THE go-to spot. Fly Bye Arcadia (3912 E. Camelback Road Suite 100 in Phoenix) complements two other locations in Phoenix and Desert Ridge.
