At the Phoenix Film Festival, there is nothing that fans love more than sitting in a comfy reclining seat in a beautiful theatre in front of a giant silver screen and watching the latest in independent film. But the fact is right now, that’s simply not an option. So the Phoenix Film Festival is offering up an alternative to their fans, the festival bringing the movie theatre to homes with the PFF Home Movies.
PFF Home Movies is a way that audiences can not only stream first-run independent films in the comfort of your own home, but they can help out the Phoenix Film Festival at the same time. For now there are two titles readily available, but ver the next couple of weeks, the festival will continue to add new films to the roster of PFF Home Movies.
This Weekend’s Selections:
The Wild Goose Lake A brilliant and downright Hitchcockian action thriller from Diao Yinan
Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band Confessional, cautionary, and occasionally humorous tale of Robertson’s young life
Corpus Christi Oscar-nominated ‘Corpus Christi’ spins an inspirational tale and tense countdown
