The Arizona Coyotes and Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona announced a multi-year partnership that will allow Goodwill to have their brand appear on the Coyotes home game helmets beginning with the 2022-23 NHL regular season and playoffs. This is one of the biggest helmet sponsorship deals in the entire NHL. The Goodwill logo will also be on the Coyotes players’ helmets for all home practices. The Goodwill logo decal will be positioned on the top left and right sides of the helmet.
“We are thrilled to announce Goodwill as our home game helmet partner,” said Coyotes President & CEO Xavier A. Gutierrez. “This partnership with one of the Valley’s most respected social enterprises aligns with our focus on impact and our efforts to leverage the power of sports to make a difference in our community. We are extremely proud to have the Goodwill brand represented on our home helmets at Mullett Arena this season.”
“We’re excited to partner with the Arizona Coyotes and create solutions that uplift the entire community,” said Tim O’Neal, CEO of Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona. “The helmet sponsorship is the first phase of our collaboration. By working together, we can help Arizonans find jobs that offer sustainable living wages.”
In addition to Goodwill having their logos on the Coyotes home helmets this season, the Coyotes and Arizona State University will implement a “Round Up at the Register” program at all stadium food service stations to support Goodwill for every event held at Mullet Arena. The Coyotes will also develop opportunities to support the Excel Center, an adult high school that offers a full high school curriculum to adults 18 and over, allowing students to earn an accredited high school diploma. Students have access to academic and life coaching, childcare, flexible scheduling, college credits, industry-recognized certifications, and much more – all at no cost to them. Goodwill will also receive digital interior and exterior signage at games, social media advertising throughout the year and select player appearances at new store openings.
