Sundt Construction’s Building Group recently hired Tony Wright, Dylan Telford, Preston Drehbol, Bert Mercer, Beau Briggs and Wendy Robinson in its Phoenix office.

“All six of these new hires are very deserving of their position,” said Stew Grauer, Sundt’s vice president and Phoenix regional manager for its Building Group. “I am excited to see what they all will accomplish at Sundt as time goes on.”

Wright, Telford, Drehbol and Mercer will join data center construction projects in the Valley. Wright will serve as a project safety manager and brings several years of safety supervision experience to his new role. Telford and Drehbol join the projects as field engineers. Drehbol graduated in May from Purdue University with a bachelor’s in civil engineering. Mercer will serve as a mechanical, electrical and plumbing specialist.

Briggs joins a semiconductor project in the Phoenix area as an environment, health and safety manager. He is a United States Marine veteran with over a decade of safety experience. Robinson has been in the construction industry since 2002 and will join the company’s Building Group as a project administrator.

Sundt has been building critical infrastructure across Arizona for more than 90 years. Headquartered in Tempe, the company continually ranks in the top five of ENR Southwest’s Top Contractors. Recently, the company completed Gila River Hotels & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass and is currently working on the North Water Treatment Plant and semiconductor, data centers and manufacturing projects across the Valley.
