Blues Traveler, Spin Doctors and Phoenix’s own Wyves take the stage Friday, October 9, as the Sound Bites Music & Food Festival returns to Gilbert Regional Park. Presented by Earnhardt Hyundai San Tan and Hunter Contracting Co., the all-ages event runs from 4:30 to 10 p.m., pairing live music with local food trucks, restaurant pop-ups and craft drinks.
Grammy Award-winning Blues Traveler headlines the evening, bringing the band’s blend of rock, blues and harmonica-driven sound. Spin Doctors, known for ’90s hits “Two Princes” and “Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong,” joins the lineup alongside local rock band Wyves.
Wyves performs from 5 to 6:30 p.m., followed by Spin Doctors from 7 to 8 p.m. Blues Traveler closes the festival with a set from 8:30 to 10 p.m.
New this year, a happy hour from 4:30 to 6 p.m. gives every ticket holder early access to exclusive vendor menus. Food options include Guac On Up, Bahama Bucks, Horneys Hot Dogs, Cactus Sips AZ, Loompeeya and Juicy Slice. SanTan Brewing and Distilling provides bar service, with alcoholic beverages available to guests 21 and older with valid identification.
Day-of admission is $60, plus taxes and fees. Children 11 and younger attend free but must have a ticket registered with a purchased adult general admission ticket.
Gilbert Regional Park is located at 3005 E. Queen Creek Road. On-site parking opens at 4 p.m. and costs $20 per vehicle, payable by credit or debit card. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
