Delivery Driver

DH Pace Company, Inc., aspires to hire a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver in our Tempe, Arizona office. This individual will be responsible for ensuring materials are loaded and delivered to job sites on time, be held accountable for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse/shop as tasks are performed. At times, you will receive ordered materials, stock inventory, maintain parts inventory levels and ship materials.

Job Responsibilities:

Loading and Delivering:

• Receive materials from warehouse stock area or obtain materials from staging area; compare product/material quantities to delivery tickets ensuring no discrepancies.
• Check materials prior to loading and unloading for damage.
• Ensure materials are properly loaded and secured thereby minimizing damage during transportation.
• Develop product knowledge to ensure correct materials are loaded and taken to job site.
• Ensure that all delivery tickets and time sheets are completed, signed and submitted accurately
• Complete delivery log on a daily basis and submit with delivery tickets to manager at end of day.
• Receive COD payments from customers; obtain appropriate signatures to verify delivery and acceptance of materials delivered.
• Maintain logs and monthly mileage reports in Company vehicles.

Warehouse:

• Maintaining parts inventory
• Receiving and shipping ordered material
• Stocking inventory
• Replenish service vehicles
• Other duties may be assigned

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be able to safely lift 70 lbs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• Valid Drivers license with at least a 3 year clean driving record
• Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers and represent the company in a professional manner
• Must be able to obtain a DOT card
