ZIVELO™ Hires Phil Vaney as Chief Operating Officer

ZIVELO™, a public computing technology company that designs, manufactures and distributes self-service kiosk and digital signage systems, announces the addition of Phil Vaney as chief operating officer. Vaney joins the team operating out of the company’s new 13,000-square-foot operations headquarters in the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall.

Vaney brings more than 15 years of leadership experience to ZIVELO. An accomplished technology operations and manufacturing executive, Vaney has a proven track record of growing businesses by leading product development, manufacturing and supply chain strategies. He most recently served as Director of Operations for DAP Technologies (a division of Roper Industries) where he managed operations, manufacturing and the global supply chain production of rugged computing products. Prior responsibilities include roles as operations manager of Intel’s Home Products Group and global start-up Manager for Intel’s Flip Chip Assembly/Test Factory start-up effort, as well as numerous senior leadership positions in both start-up environments and Fortune 500 environments.

Since opening in 2008, ZIVELO has quickly skyrocketed to become one of the largest self-service kiosk manufacturers in the world with a client base that has grown to serve companies in more than 40 market sectors. In March 2014, the company looked to establish its operations headquarters in a city that would allow for continued growth and attract talented employees. ZIVELO decisively chose a nontraditional space located in the Fashion Square Mall in downtown Scottsdale. The hometown of Birg and a growing hub for entrepreneurial and technology companies, Scottsdale was a natural fit for the company. The new office will serve as the company’s operations headquarters, design studio and showroom space, and will be open to the public by appointment only.
