A Valley company is being recognized on a national level for its commitment to protecting the environment through superior energy efficiency. Glendale-based AZ Energy Efficient Home selected by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a winner of the 2016 EnergyStar Contractor of the Year Award. Out of 16,000 EnergyStar across the country, AZ Energy Efficient Home is 1 of only 6 contractors to win this prestigious award. Company Founder and CEO Jonathan Waterworth received the award in a special ceremony in Washington DC where the company was honored for pioneering advancements in efficient energy use and leading the industry with use of new technology that is making an impact in Arizona homes.

The company also received an A+ rating for exceptional customer satisfaction and quality of work reporting a total of zero failures within the program. AZEEH also received top marks in home performance ratings, averaging approximately 28 million British thermal units for Home Performance with EnergyStar.
Last year, AZEEH improved the safety and efficiency of more than XX homes in Arizona. Developing partnerships with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) and solar companies to widen the service offerings available to customers while maintaining focus on the fundamental objective to make homes more efficient.
Since its inception in 1992, ENERGY STAR and its partners have helped prevent a total of more than 2.4 billion metric tons of greenhouse gas emissions. In 2014 alone, ENERGY STAR and its partners provided more than $11 billion in societal benefits due to reducing damages from climate change.
