Telesphere Wins a 2015 CIO Impact Award in Enterprise Architecture

Telesphere  Dec. 3, 2014

Telesphere, the leading provider of nationwide Unified Communications as a Service for businesses, has been named a winner by Frost & Sullivan in its annual 2015 CIO Impact Awards. Earlier today, Frost & Sullivan announced 44 world-class companies as winners of the 2015 CIO Impact Awards. The recipients are comprised of enterprise teams, individuals, and technology partners enabling breakthrough new business models and strategies through the innovative use of transformative technologies.

Telesphere’s project was evaluated by a panel of expert judges that included award-winning Chief Information Officers and Frost & Sullivan researchers. Awards are being presented to the teams of researchers that led the highest-scoring projects in eight categories: Enterprise Social Networking, Advanced Software Development, Enterprise Architecture, Mobility, Cloud Computing, Unified Communications and Collaboration, Data and Network Resilience, and Advanced Analytics and Big Data.

Telesphere offers a comprehensive suite of cloud voice and UCaaS services, including advanced call center solutions, collaboration, mobile office and HD multi-point video conferencing. Last month, Vonage Holdings Corp. (NYSE: VG) announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Telesphere Networks Ltd. Once completed, Telesphere will provide Unified Communications-as-a-Service (UCaaS) solutions to larger enterprises and multi-location offices under the Vonage Business Services umbrella, doing business as Telesphere, a Vonage Company. The transaction is anticipated to be closed this month. Headquartered in the Phoenix area, Telesphere has a regional presence in Seattle, California, Las Vegas, Denver, Dallas, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis/St. Paul and New York.

Telesphere’s Chief Technology Officer Dr. Sanjay Srinivasan stated, “We are honored to receive this prestigious award. As more businesses unify communications and migrate to cloud-based services that enable unified communications providers, the demand for impeccable quality puts significant pressure to develop enterprise architecture that can scale and do it with 100% quality. This was the basis of our project submission. Telesphere’s hosted cloud-based service delivery models have been engineered to migrate network and unified communications services to the cloud, utilizing significantly more advanced configurations than typical cloud-based and premises infrastructure and software services because of the real-time nature of communications services in addition to the demand for perfect quality.”

Winners of the 2015 CIO Impact Awards will be honored at a gala event on February 10, 2015, at the Hyatt Regency in San Francisco, Calif., in association with the 3rd Annual ConNEXTions 2015: A Frost & Sullivan Executive MindXchange. Frost & Sullivan, the Growth Partnership Company, works in collaboration with clients to leverage visionary innovation that addresses the global challenges and related growth opportunities that will make or break today’s market participants. Our “Growth Partnership” supports clients by addressing these opportunities and incorporating two key elements driving visionary innovation: The Integrated Value Proposition and The Partnership Infrastructure.
