Spellbinders® Paper Arts, LLC, is an Inc. 500|5000 company, award-winning inventor, manufacturer and marketer of industry-leading tools for crafters of all genres. The company is pleased to announce Greg A. Tipsord has been appointed chief executive officer. He will assume his duties immediately.

Tipsord is a proven executive leader with more than 23 years of extensive experience and success in driving revenue and profit, as well as organizational and brand-building methodologies for world-class companies including The Dial Corporation, The Henkel Corporation and Proctor and Gamble. In 2012, he founded the Business Consumer Consulting Group, providing management consulting services to consumer-facing businesses. Tipsord has a strong reputation as an individual and organizational talent developer, with an inspirational, transparent leadership style.

In addition, Tipsord has a track record of organic businessgrowth, successful business turnarounds, new product innovations, mergers/acquisitions, cost re-engineering and culture turnarounds, as well as extensive experience and success working with boards of directors, Wall Street analysts and business media.

Tipsord earned his B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Cincinnati, graduating Summa Cum Laude and ranking first in his class. He was the winner of the Herman Schneider Award for the Outstanding Engineer at the University of Cincinnati and President of the Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. Tipsord has served on various boards:  American Cleaning Institute, chairman Strategic Planning Committee for the notMYkid Charity— Fresh Start Women’s Foundation and Teach for American Phoenix Region.
