Southwest Insurance Agents Alliance Names New AZ Regional VPs

Southwest Insurance Agency Alliance (SIAA) — the largest alliance of independent insurance agencies in the Southwest — has hired two regional vice presidents for the State of Arizona: William R. Gordon and Nate Call.

Gordon and Call will share responsibility for membership service, network development and insurance company relations for Alliance member agencies located in Arizona.

Nate, a 10-year industry professional, brings a depth of sales and risk management experience, making him an outstanding adocate and mentor for our agency members. Both gentlemen will ensure our current and future agencies stay well-equipped to meet the demands of today’s evolving industry.”

Before joining Southwest Insurance Agents Alliance, Gordon was the principal at Gordon Insurance Associates, Inc., where he managed the transition of clientele from a sole proprietorship agency representing a single carrier to an independent insurance brokerage representing more than 15 regional and national insurance carriers. Previously, he managed and owned a captive agency in Peoria, Ariz., and was a manager of investigations in the Pacific Northwest where he held oversight for domestic and international insurance related investigations brought by national insurance carrier SIU departments.

A resident of Phoenix, Gordon holds a BA from the University of Phoenix, maintains a seat on the Agent’s Advisory Council and earned the J.D. Powers Distinguished Agency Service Award in 2005.

Call most recently served as vice president of sales for Diversified Insurance Group, one of the fastest-growing insurance operations in the western U.S., where he managed and designed program setup and structure for new and existing accounts, recruited key employees and was responsible for new business growth. He was also a sales producer and business insurance broker with Leavitt Group and a client advisor for Marsh USA, Inc.

Call holds an MBA from Westminster College and is active in these professional organizations: Wayne Brown Institute, Utah Technology Council and Mountain West Capital Network. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
