Just in time for Valentine’s Day, OpenTable has released its annual list of the 100 most romantic restaurants in the U.S. The Diners’ Choice Awards Top 100 Most Romantic restaurant list of winners is derived from more than 5 million reviews submitted by OpenTable diners for more than 19,000 restaurants in all 50 states and the District of Columbia. This year, SASSI joins three other Arizona restaurants in receiving the highly acclaimed national recognition.
“We are very pleased by this acknowledgment from OpenTable diners,” said Stephen Plunkett, general manager and wine director for SASSI. “We are proud to offer an unforgettable romantic experience that fuses Arizona’s beautiful scenery with authentic Italian inspiration. We also want to congratulate the other restaurants in Arizona which were also part of the list, including Quiessence, L’Auberge restaurant at Oak Creek and a Different Pointe of View.”
2014 marks the third time SASSI has been honored on this list. Caroline Porter, OpenTable chief dining officer honored the restaurant: “Congratulations to these winning restaurants for serving up the perfect recipe for romance to couples seeking to celebrate their affection for one another. They have created dining experiences that allow guests to connect and kindle the flames of romance over fantastic fare.”
