Salut Kitchen Bar Supports Camp for Special Needs Children and Adults

Salut Kitchen Bar August 18, 2015

LCT_Photo1On Sunday, Salut Kitchen Bar donated 20 percent of its sales from select dishes and cocktails to Lions Camp Tatiyee. The camp, the only organization of its kind in Arizona, provides a traditional summer camp experience for adults and children with special needs at no charge.

Customers enjoyed good food and drinks for a great cause! All day long, a portion of the sales of Four Peaks’ Kilt Lifter beer, the Bird Dog Peach cocktail, Salut’s signature hummus nachos and the camping-appropriate make-your-own s’mores directly benefitted Lions Camp Tatiyee and the community it serves. The restaurant also offered guests half-off bottles of wine and a raffle with prizes ranging from Salut gift cards to sporting event tickets.

Not long ago, Lions Camp was in immediate danger of cancelling week-long sessions due to a shortfall of funds. Salut’s efforts raised money and awareness to ensure this 501(c)3, which operates solely on donations, can continue to offer all camp sessions to individuals with special needs for generations to come.
