P.B. Bell Earns Top Honors For Safety

P.B. Bell, a leader in multi-family housing development, management and acquisitions, is being recognized for its commitment to safety.  For the eighth consecutive year, P.B. Bell has been included on CopperPoint Mutual Insurance Company’s exclusive “Best of the Best” list for its efforts to keep employees safe.

Phoenix-based CopperPoint Mutual Insurance Company, an advocate for workplace safety, recognizes businesses on its “Best of the Best” list annually.  The recognition is awarded each year to fewer than 100 insured policyholders out of a pool of about 16,000.  This year, 43 businesses received the award.

“Workplace safety has always been a priority of P.B. Bell’s, understanding that most of our workplaces are tucked inside housing communities,” Julia Leonard, vice president of human resources for P.B. Bell, said. “We take great pride in knowing that our employees are safe while at work, which in turn reinforces safe communities for our residents.”

CopperPoint recognized P.B. Bell in part because it demonstrated a loss ratio of 20 percent or less during the most recent policy period.  In addition, P.B. Bell demonstrated a loss ratio of 30 percent or less during three consecutive policy periods.

To ensure a safe working environment, P.B. Bell performs safety audits on a routine basis; stresses the importance of safety with each new employee as part of onboarding and orientation; and holds regular, internal safety meetings.
