OnTrac CAO Elected to CLDA Board of Directors

OnTrac July 16, 2013

OnTrac, the leader in regional overnight delivery in the eight Western States, congratulates Chief Administrative Officer Rick Chase on his election to The Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (formerly the MCAA) board of directors.

Chase has been with OnTrac since 1994 and manages special projects such as acquisitions, market expansion, product development, litigation, and independent contractor vendor development. His 25 years of transportation business management experience and senior management positions with both Roadway and Emery Worldwide make him an asset to the company and the board.

Chase joins prominent members of the Transportation and Logistics community as part of the acting voice in the customized logistics and delivery industry. As a part of the CLDA Board of Directors, Chase will work to set policies and guidelines, oversee committees, participate in the group’s legislative efforts on behalf of their members and is heavily involved in the association’s two major meetings in the Spring and Fall.

The association’s board was extensively involved in the group’s rebranding as the Customized Logistics and Delivery Association (CLDA) in response to their members’ widespread involvement in the global supply chain. For the 26 years before that it was known as the Messenger and Courier Association of America (MCAA).

Their term of service will end at the group’s 2014 Annual Meeting next May in Scottsdale, AZ.
