JE Dunn Arizona – New Hires and Promotions

JE Dunn Construction Company is experiencing growth through new project opportunities in Arizona; therefore, we are expanding our talented staff.  JE Dunn has been building in Arizona since 1998.

Ben Strobl, Vice President of Southwest Operations, will lead JE Dunn’s Arizona office. With more than 20 years of experience, Strobl’s leadership will serve as an asset to the Arizona office. Strobl possesses in-depth project expertise in a wide range of markets including data centers, correctional facilities, and corporate environments.  He recently led the successful delivery of the La Palma Correctional Facility and CyrusOne Data Center. He is involved in various organizations such as 7×24 Exchange, the American Correctional Association and the Greater Phoenix Economic Council. He also serves on the Construction Advisory Board for Northern Arizona University and the Industry Advisory Board for Arizona State University.

Mark Arnold, a 24-year veteran of JE Dunn, is relocating from our Denver office to expand healthcare operations for the Arizona office. Arnold has previously provided project leadership at the outset of the recently completed Tucson Medical Center and has worked on numerous Banner Health projects for JE Dunn.

Kyle Chase joins JE Dunn as senior project manager with more than 15 years in the industry. His experience spans multiple industry markets ranging from sports/entertainment facilities to laboratory and energy projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Georgia Institute of Technology.

Brenton Chinn recently joined JE Dunn as a project engineer. Chinn has a degree in Construction Management from Northern Arizona University. Chase and Chinn are working on the recently awarded 500-bed prison expansion for the State of Arizona in Buckeye.  The $43 Million expansion project is under way and scheduled to be complete in late 2014.

Jess Adkins also joined JE Dunn as senior project engineer. Jess has seven years of experience in general construction and five years in the semiconductor and cleanroom industry. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Construction from Arizona State University.

James Casey also joined JE Dunn as a project engineer. James has a Bachelor of Business Administration from New Mexico State University and more than 10 years of experience in various construction trades. Casey and Adkins are working on a recently awarded solar project with Sun Edison in Bakersfield California.  The $18 Million project is scheduled to be complete in early 2014.

Brian Quintana is now senior estimator for JE Dunn’s Phoenix office. He has more than 16 years of construction experience and is involved in several industry organizations including the Arizona Subcontractor Association, Arizona Builders Alliance and the American Society of Professional Estimators. Quintana previously served as senior estimator for FCI Constructors in Glendale, Arizona. Quintana has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University, Fort Collins.

JE Dunn recently purchased and renovated its Arizona office which is located at 2000 W. University Drive, Tempe, Arizona.
