Turning Technologies, the global leader in the student response industry, today announced the appointment of industry leader Greg Simmons as senior vice president and chief sales officer. Simmons will be responsible for the supervision of all North American sales, distribution, customer and channel support.

Simmons will oversee all North American offices and channel partners to further development of target markets. Specifically, he will be responsible for the management of all sales teams to expand customer base, ensure customer satisfaction, increase revenue and meet established company goals. Simmons will assist in the creation of relationships with stakeholders and identify potential opportunities for additional growth.
With a background in educational technology and solutions, Simmons previously served as vice president of Sales and Operations at Cengage Learning and was with the company in various senior positions for 13 years. He holds a Master’s degree in International Management/International Business, Asian Studies from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from San Jose State University. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
