For the second year in a row, Camelot Homes was presented with the coveted Small Volume Builder of the Year Award at the Home Builders Association of Central Arizona MAME Awards. The 30th annual Major Achievements in Merchandising Excellence ceremony, held at the Westin Kierland Resort and Spa on May 2, showcased the exemplary efforts of builders, designers, architects and sales teams who contribute to the ever-growing success of the homebuilding industry in the Valley of the Sun.
“The Camelot team faced a strong field of competition this year, making the win even more meaningful,” said Mark Hancock, managing director of Camelot Homes. “This year, the award show hosted 450 attendees. There was a 60-percent surge in judged entries, 40 percent more Sales Achievement awards, and an 80-percent increase in Team Member awards. I am proud of the level of craftsmanship Camelot continues to demonstrate as leaders in our industry.”
In addition to the Small Volume Builder of the Year achievement, Camelot earned top honors in four prestigious categories. These are Best Detached Product Design for Homes from $500,001 to $750,000 for Plan 9002, Gold Mountain Preserve; Best Attached Product Design for Plan 4, The Villas at DC Ranch; Best Website; and Best Newspaper Ad for Gold Mountain Preserve.
Camelot also received Finalist distinctions in five categories. These are Best Detached Product Design for Homes over $750,000 for Plan 55-22, Bocara; Best Interior Merchandising for Homes From $500,001 to $750,000 for Plan 9002, Gold Mountain Preserve; Best Interior Merchandising for Homes over $750,000 for Plan 55-22, Bocara; Best Interior Merchandising for Homes over $750,000 for Plan 4, The Villas at DC Ranch; and Best Design Center by a Builder.
