107-Year-Old Valley Printer Wins ‘Best of Show’ Award

The Western States Printing Association (WSPA) held its Print Excellence Awards dinner and Employee Recognition event last Thursday. With printers from Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming all competing, Phoenix-based printer O’Neil Printing was proud to take home several awards, including the coveted Best of Show award.

O’Neil Printing received the honor of Best of Show for its digitally printed Urban Electric, Paris Show Book hardcover set produced on an HP Indigo 7600 digital press. The book also won Best in Category – Digital Hardbound Book.

In addition, the company took home a Print Excellence Award for Best in Category for its hardbound book Haub Family Collection of Western Sculpture. Six O’Neil Printing employees at the event were also recognized by WSPA for their outstanding contributions to the company and the printing industry.

O’Neil Printing also won Silver awards in the categories Digital Hardbound Book, for L’ Lorena Gaxiola; Invitation/Program, for Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach; Greeting/Postcard, for O’Neil/Rule29 “Cheer” Christmas Card; and Self Promotion, for “Stunning Possibilities” for O’Neil Printing. And O’Neil Printing took home a Bronze Award in the Corporate Identity: Branding Book category for Central Christian Church.

Locally, the Phoenix Chamber of Commerce named O’Neil the IMPACT award winner for its commitment to forward-thinking environmental practices.
