Christopher Collins, chef/owner of one of the Valley’s most successful restaurant groups, Common Ground Culinary, is excited to announce the opening of his 9th concept, St. Urban on Friday, September 23rd, 2022. Housed at The Colony, a 1950’s era mixed-use development located in the heart of the 7th Street restaurant district, St. Urban (5538 N. 7th Street) is a modern, view-filled take on the classic French brasserie. Located directly above Collins’ popular Neighborly Public House, St. Urban serves up light bites, shareable plates and handcrafted cocktails in a welcoming atmosphere where guests can kick back and soak in the elevated views of Uptown Phoenix.

“St. Urban is one of our most unique, exciting, concepts yet. Stylish yet approachable, it’s the perfect place for casual cocktails with friends or a romantic dinner date, and is the perfect complement to its downstairs companion, Neighborly Public House,” says Chef Christopher Collins.

Perched atop the Neighborly Public House, St. Urban is a light, airy space that perfectly reflects the food and beverage offerings. Highlights include an all-new window wall lining the east façade to bring sunlight, fresh air and fantastic views of Camelback and the Phoenix Mountain Preserve. Plus, the back entrance, formerly a dark hallway, is now opened up with a see-through glass door leading to an inviting outdoor balcony and garden-like seating area. Mirroring the elegant simplicity of the decor, Chef Collins’ menu features gourmet bar bites such as a Roasted Pork Panini, The Provencal flatbread, or a shareable Fromage & Charcuterie Board. But the real star is the bar program, including a carefully curated beer and wine selection, and of course, an extensive list of craft cocktails such as Walk in Paris made with Remy Martin 1738, Green Chartreuse, Giffard passion fruit, lemon juice and vanilla essence, and the French Kiss, a buzzy cocktail that uses coffee infused Kettle One, cinnamon infused Cointreau, double concentrated cold brew and is finished with Tempus Fugit Crème de Moka.

St. Urban will be open Monday and Tuesday from 4 – 9 pm, and Wednesday through Saturday 4 – 10pm.
