Local veterinarian Dr. Daniele Johnson announced the opening of Livewell Animal Hospital of North Scottsdale, located at 17757 N Scottsdale Rd Suite 104, Scottsdale, AZ 85255. After practicing in North Scottsdale for the past several years, Dr. Johnson is excited to deepen roots in the community with a modern veterinary hospital that blends high-quality medical care with compassion, prevention, and community connection.
As a full-service animal hospital, Livewell Animal Hospital of North Scottsdale offers wellness and preventative care, senior veterinary care, internal medicine, x-rays, ultrasound, and more. The hospital is also equipped with a state-of-the-art surgery suite, on-site and online pharmacies, and a laboratory to perform efficient, basic diagnostic tests.
For Dr. Johnson, the decision to become a veterinarian dates back to childhood. “I have wanted to be a veterinarian since I was very young, around 5 or 6 years old. My grandfather was a huge animal lover, and would always stop to help any strays and rescue anything he could. It inspired a love of animals in me from a very young age, and I have always been drawn to them,” she explained.
Having spent the last several years working as an emergency veterinarian in North Scottsdale, Dr. Johnson knew this was the perfect community to open a veterinary hospital. “I have spent the last 3 years working as an emergency veterinarian in North Scottsdale, and I have fallen in love with the clients and the community here. More than anywhere I have worked before, people here truly view their pets as their family, just like I do, and I have a lot of fun getting to help and spend time with these families,” she shared.
Her professional passions include preventative care and soft tissue surgery. “I think that preventative care is SO important in staying on top of your pet’s health and getting to spend as much time with them as possible. Of course, emergencies happen that cannot be prevented, but if we can tackle the ones that can we can have a huge impact on a lot of pets and pet parents,” Dr. Johnson said.
Livewell Animal Hospital of North Scottsdale opened on April 30th and is now accepting appointments. Hospital hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. The hospital is closed Wednesdays and Sundays.
Livewell Animal Hospital of North Scottsdale is hosting a family and pet-friendly Ribbon Cutting celebration on Tuesday, May 26th from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. The event will feature hospital tours, giveaways, and opportunities for the community to meet the veterinary team. The hospital also looks forward to partnering with local rescue organizations and pet-focused community groups in the future.
