Muscular Moving Men & Storage and its commercial moving division, M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics, are making big moves in 2020 despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The North Valley-based moving company has seen massive growth this year due to a hot housing market, historic low mortgage rates and Muscular Moving Men’s focus on high quality moves and customer service.
Combined business for both divisions is up 33% from this time in 2019, with 80 more residential and commercial moves in September 2020 than in September 2019. M3 Commercial Moving & Logistics will end 2020 with 80% growth year over year.
“While the pandemic has certainly changed how we operate as a business, the Phoenix moving market is strong and we are proud to be at the forefront as out of towners and locals make moves in their lives,” said Justin Hodge, president of Muscular Moving Men & Storage. “We plan continue this momentum into 2021 and beyond.”
As more people make the move to the Phoenix metropolitan area without specific housing plans, the demand for storage space has increased. Muscular Moving Men’s storage space is at maximum capacity, with a 20% rise year over year. The company recently purchased 100 additional storage vaults – a number that is anticipated to rise in the coming months.
With increased demand for moves comes an additional need for labor. Muscular Moving Men has increased its office staff from 17 to 26 employees and its field staff from 45 to 65 employees in 2020. However, the need for excellent mover-athletes and drivers is still high.
