Kenect Opens in Downtown Phoenix, Creates One-of-a-Kind Residential and Coworking Community

Kenect Phoenix, a new all-in-one social club and apartment community by Chicago-based Akara Partners, announces its grand opening in Downtown Phoenix. Just off the busiest stop along the light rail, across from Central Station, Kenect is located at 355 N. Central Ave., near Arizona State University’s downtown campus, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, ASU Law School and ASU Medical School.

Kenect’s coworking spaces include float desks, dedicated desks, private offices and more. Members can dive into productivity, community, and collaboration instantly while enjoying access to exclusive events curated towards personal and professional growth. Kenect offers flexible lease terms for both long-term and short-term leases. Members have access to all onsite amenities, Wi-Fi access, wireless printing, and the ability to reserve private conference rooms to host business meetings. As an added value, Kenect members also receive nationwide access to Kenect coworking and amenities at all Kenect locations.

“Kenect is a community unlike any other coworking space or residential community in Phoenix,” says Milly Beyer, Executive Director of Kenect Phoenix. “With the new normal of remote working, Kenect offers residents and members the ability to have a flexible living and working environment all within one building. This style of living creates an overall elevated experience for all busy and vibrant professionals alike.”

Kenect offers a wide variety of amenities, including a rooftop pool, dog park, curated social and networking events, concierge services, community benefits, gym with state-of-the-art equipment, AKTIV Virtual Bays, along with 7,000 SF of coworking space where all residents have a complimentary membership. Kenect’s expansive coworking space offers a lively and professional work environment great for small startup companies looking to launch their brand to individual professionals in search of a dedicated workspace for remote working.

Kenect offers furnished and unfurnished apartments including studios, 1-bedrooms, and 3 bed/3 bath co-living floor plan options. Kenect conveniently offers flexible individual leases and lease terms for residents in the three-bedroom apartment – each resident has their own bedroom/bathroom and a shared common area with roommates. For those who don’t have specific roommates in mind, Kenect offers a roommate matching program.  The apartments are also available to be leased fully by one individual as well.

Kenect Phoenix will be hosting a Grand Opening event on Wednesday, March 16 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. open to the public to take tours of the property. The event will be held in the Lobby, Coworking space, and the 8th floor Backyard with live music performances by Xu Batt, and a live art installment by Jayarr Custom Art. Small bites and beverages will be provided. For more details and to RSVP, click here.

Kenect Phoenix is the second of five Kenect projects from Akara Partners, the first, now open in Nashville, with other locations under development in Cleveland, Denver and Minneapolis.
