Dr. Zaynah Camp-Fry has been named chief executive officer of ClearSky Rehabilitation Hospital of Avondale. The 30-bed medical rehabilitation hospital provides specialized rehabilitative care to individuals with disabling injuries or illnesses, including strokes, brain injuries, hip fractures, spinal injuries, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and other medically-complex conditions.
Camp-Fry brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience to her role, including inpatient rehabilitation, hospital operations, ancillary services, and clinical operations. Most recently, she served as chief executive officer of a 48-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Phoenix, where she oversaw clinical, financial, and operational performance and provided strategic leadership for the organization. Previously, she served as chief executive officer of a 60-bed inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Miami, where she grew revenue and referrals, strengthened community and provider partnerships, improved employee engagement, and led the team to strong clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Camp-Fry earned a doctorate in business administration from California Southern University in Costa Mesa, Calif., and a master’s degree in business administration in management and a bachelor’s degree in medical technology from Wayland Baptist University in San Antonio, Texas. She also served over a decade stateside and overseas in the United States Air Force.
