After a competitive bidding process that involved several Phoenix area marketing agencies, Kitchen Sink Creative, a full-service creative agency based in Phoenix and part of the SCC Global Family, is pleased to announce its selection as the marketing agency of record for the Phoenix Convention Center, Symphony Hall and Orpheum Theatre Phoenix.
The five-year contract engages Kitchen Sink Creative and their SCC agency partners with the management team of PCC, Symphony Hall and Orpheum Theatre Phoenix to develop and execute marketing strategy, creative, PR and media.
“We are thrilled to have been selected by the Phoenix Convention Center & Venues as their agency of record,” said Nick Hower, co-founder of Kitchen Sink Creative. “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to leverage the expanded capabilities that SCC has brought to the Phoenix market and continue to elevate downtown Phoenix as a year-round destination for visitors.”
According to Jerry Harper, Deputy Director of PCC, “The Phoenix Convention Center & Venues represent a family of world-class facilities deserving world-class recognition. The KSC/SCC combination brings a new level of strategy, creative and digital marketing expertise to our efforts. We’re excited about collaborating and growing our brand as a top-tier destination for meetings, conventions and events in the U.S. and North America.”
The Phoenix Convention Center is a leading event facility in the U.S., bringing major events to the heart of Downtown Phoenix throughout the year. The Orpheum Theatre Phoenix, owned and operated by City of Phoenix, is a historic theater adjacent to the Phoenix City Hall that hosts a variety of top-name music, theatre, film and comedy performances.
“As one of the top tourism agencies in the country, we’re excited to be working with the City of Phoenix on this important set of venues that brings millions of dollars in revenue to the Phoenix economy,” said Daniel Thomas, CEO of SCC member agency TimeZoneOne. “We look forward to getting the PCC on the shortlists of meeting and convention planners and exceeding our sales goals.”
In its 24-year history, KSC has extensive experience working with the City of Phoenix. Previous engagements include Phoenix Art Museum, Legend’s Entertainment District, Phoenix’s Light Rail, and the initial expansion of the Convention Center.
