A website designed to provide information and awareness about the 2014 Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix (RMHC) fundraising event, A McNight to Remember: The Glass Slipper Gala, earned a Special Recognition W-3 Award for Gate 6, a digital marketing design and development agency in Phoenix. The 2014 W3 Awards honor outstanding websites, web marketing, web video, mobile site/apps and social content.  More than 4,000 entries were submitted.  Winners were selected by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.

The website, www.mcnightgala.com, was designed specifically for the RMHC event to provide a single location for information about the event including sponsorship opportunities and individual ticketing information.

“Gate 6 has been a phenomenal partner for the Ronald McDonald House and has consistently provided us with remarkably creative tools and resources that enable us to reach a wide audience in the community,” said RMHC Executive Director Nancy Roach.  “We loved the website they created for the gala, and the response we received from those who visited it was over the top.”

More than 450 individuals attended A McNight to Remember and helped raise nearly $390,000 to ensure that no family is ever turned away from one of the three Ronald McDonald Houses in the Valley because they can’t afford the $15 nightly fee that is requested.  The cost to house a family for one night is $49.

“We were once again amazed with the high level of execution and creativity represented within this year’s group of entrants,” said Linda Day, director of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts.  “Our winners continue to find innovative and forward-thinking ways to push the boundaries of creativity in Web design.”

Gate 6 Media CEO and Founder Manish Mamnani said that “our partnership with the Ronald McDonald House is very special to us because of the impact they have on families from Arizona and across the country by providing them safe, warm and caring places to stay while their children undergo often critical medical care in the Valley.”
