Vestar of Phoenix, Arizona, recently placed eight electric charging stations at its award-winning entertainment and retail lifestyle center, Tempe Marketplace, in Tempe, Arizona. Through a partnership with ECOtality (NASDAQ:ECTY), eight Blink charging systems including handicapped accessible units, have been placed on both the north and south side of the center. These installations are part of Vestar’s already well-established GreenStar initiative, the Southwest’s first large-scale commitment to sustainable shopping center techniques. The Blink Network of charging stations provides EV drivers the freedom to travel as they choose and conveniently charge at Blink commercial locations along the way, including Tempe Marketplace.
