Redirect Health Appoints New Director of Business Development as National Expansion Booms

Redirect Health, which helps employers and their brokers build health care plans using a self-insurance model, announced the appointment of David Slepak as director of business development. In this role, Slepak will oversee Redirect Health’s distribution strategy and execution among brokers, advisors and direct customers. As well, he will manage innovation, including new product strategy and development.

With years of experience in the health care industry, Slepak will help Redirect Health build more strategic relationships as the company brings easy and affordable health care solutions to entrepreneurial organizations.

Slepak brings creative, analytical and technical skills that have made him a hands-on, entrepreneurial change agent. He has successfully led many cross-functional sales and marketing teams as they have sought new opportunities, developed innovative products and brought products to market. His breadth and depth of experience in constructing and executing product strategy, driving brand awareness and forging strategic partnerships has helped him accelerate revenue gains for a range of companies. At Redirect Health, he will support and elevate the company’s disruptive, forward-thinking culture, and help drive exponential change with entrepreneurial clients nationwide, enabling them to create competitive advantages with their health care plans.

Prior to Redirect Health, Slepak was director of field sales and marketing for a health care services program. He has also held sales and marketing executive leadership roles with consumer electronics and health care companies.

Armed with life and health, and property and casualty licenses, Slepak is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters. He serves as communications chair of the Greater Phoenix Association of Health Underwriters.

Slepak earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on marketing and political science from the Center of the Advancement of Small Business at the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
